The Mosaic laws were never completely written off by Jesus. In fact, the Mosaic laws had been proposed to be followed by Jesus because Jesus had not come to Earth to make the Mosaic laws get abolished (Matthew 5:17-18). Jesus had come to Earth to completely fulfil the laws by making His followers and the entire Jewish, Israelite and Gentile communities realize the true or the actual meaning of fulfilling the Mosaic laws with the new covenant established by Jesus. Therefore, every Christian must be able to understand that the Mosaic laws are not out of place in the new covenant established by Jesus.
